COMPANY OVERVIEW

AnDAPT™, Inc. is revolutionizing power management with its innovative On-Demand Power Management Solution, offering customers unprecedented ability to build and customize power management solutions in days or hours. AnDAPT solutions accelerate time to market and offer flexibility for rapid changes, keeping pace with user design requirements. All this is provided while maintaining a competitive advantage for lower device cost, board real estate reduction, lower-power and analog/digital function integration. A privately held, fabless power semiconductor company, AnDAPT, Inc. designs, manufactures and markets On-Demand Power Management Solutions.

PRODUCTS
AnDAPT On-Demand Power Management Solutions include the Adaptive Multi-Rail Power (AmP™) platform IC family, WebAmP cloud-based software tools and proven AmP Power Components. Users can now, on-demand, select and integrate application targeted, power components on an AmP Platform. These software-based power components replace traditional expensive catalog parts. Target applications include enterprise, data center, networking and telecom.

TECHNOLOGY
AnDAPT has pioneered a new genre of adaptive analog technology that combines digital programmable fabric with µAnalog power building blocks, to enable full functionality power rails on-demand. This technology combines the proven proficiency of analog power, along with FPGA flexibility, enabling integration of heterogeneous rails, optimization for user applications and the ability to monitor, control and manage power.

Kapil Shankar

President and CEO

Kapil Shankar has over 20 years’ experience in semiconductors. He was founder and CEO of SiliconBlue Technologies with prior experience at Xilinx, Lattice, and AMD. Kapil has 16 patents in programmable logic. He holds an MSEE & MSCS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, NY.

Tom Chan

EVP Technology/Operations

Tom Chan is responsible for Technology and Operations. Previously Tom was at SiliconBlue. He holds an MSEE from the University of California Berkeley and a BSEE from Cal Poly State University.

GIOVANNI GARCEA

VP SYSTEMS ENGINEERING

Dr. Giovanni Garcea is responsible for development of power components and applications. Previously he was at Qualcomm, Volterra, and Summit. Dr. Garcea holds a Doctorate in Information Technologies Engineering and a "Laurea" degree (B.S. and M.S.) in Electrical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Italy.

DongHui Li

VP Software Development

Donghui Li is responsible for Software Development, including Web Technologies. Previously, he was with Lattice and SiliconBlue. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona.

Anton Bakker

VP Platform Engineering

Anton Bakker is responsible for the company’s platform design & development. Previously, he was at MPS, Analog Devices, and NXP. Anton holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Delft University.

Zaryab Hamavand

VP Sales and Marketing
Zaryab Hamavand is responsible for the company's sales, customer engagement and marketing. Previously Zaryab was at TDK-Invensense, ZMDI, Volterra, and National Semiconductor. Zaryab holds Master of Engineering from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ont. Canada.

 

John Birkner

Architect
John Birkner is the Architect and co-inventor of the original PAL devices. John holds an MSEE from the University of Akron and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley.

George Pavlov

CHAIRMAN

George Pavlov served as a General Partner at Tallwood Venture Capital from July 2000 until October 2015. Previous financial and sales management positions include eTime Capital, Mayfield, Blum Capital Partners, NeXT Computer, Audience Inc. Calypto Design Services, Ikanos, and Quintic Corporation. George holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Boston College.

Rich Sevcik

DIRECTOR

Rich Sevcik currently serves as President of Sevcik Consulting, providing consulting services to semiconductor companies. Board of Directors positions include currently Liquidmetal Technologies, previously SiliconBlue Technologies, and Alpha and Omega Semiconductor Limited. Previous management positions include Xilinx and Hewlett Packard. Rich received his B.S. in Engineering Physics from the University of Illinois and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University.

BRIAN LONG

DIRECTOR

Brian Long is founder and Managing Partner of Atlantic Bridge Ventures. He was founder and CEO of Parthus-CEVA technologies 1993 - 2003 which he took public (IPO) on Nasdaq and London Stock Markets (Nasdaq: CEVX) . He was founder and Chairman of GloNav Inc which developed the first single chip GPS solutions used on Galaxy mobile phones (Acquired by NXP). Brian has a Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.

Dennis Segers

DIRECTOR
Dennis Segers serves as Xilinx Chairman of the Board since November 2015. Prior to that Dennis has been a technology consultant and strategy advisor to companies in a variety of high tech markets. Dennis has served as CEO of Tabula Inc. and Matrix Semiconductor after serving several leadership positions at Xilinx. Dennis hold B.S. in Engineering from Texas A&M University.

 

Kapil Shankar

DIRECTOR

Kapil is the Founder, President, and CEO of AnDAPT, Inc. He has over 20 years of experience in semiconductors and programmable logic. Previously, he was the founder and CEO of SiliconBlue Technologies, Inc., an FPGA company. He has a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, NY.

Seth Sanders

Technical Advisor
Dr. Seth R. Sanders is a Professor on the faculty of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, University of California Berkeley, since 1989. Previously, he was a Design Engineer at the Honeywell Test Instruments Division, Denver, CO. Dr. Sanders received the NSF Young Investigator Award in 1993 as well as Best Paper Awards from both the IEEE Power Electronics Society, and the IEEE Industry Applications Society. He has served as Chair of the IEEE Technical Committee on Computers in Power Electronics, and as a Member-At-Large of the IEEE PELS Adcom. Dr. Sanders received the S.B. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics and the S.M. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, 1981, 1985, and 1989, respectively.

Jim LoCascio

Technical Advisor
Jim LoCascio's over 35 years of experience in analog circuit design and power management includes applications of battery charging, LED and fluorescent lighting systems, pulsed power energy harvesting and electronic ignition systems. He holds over 20 patents in circuit topology of analog-to-digital converters, current mirrors, current sources, low dropout voltage regulators and PWM controllers. He has held positions of Sr Director at Skyworks, Executive Director at Maxim Integrated Products, Design Manager at Micro Linear, as well as positions at National Semiconductor and Motorola. Jim holds a Master's Degree, Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Arizona.

FULL STACK ENGINEER

  • Generate Test Programs (Production and Characterizations) using Verigy 93K for PMIC Products.
  • Implement test patterns (vectors) for Analog Circuits.
  • Define Tester Load Boards and associated hardware.
  • Test Cost Reduction.
  Qualifications and Experience
  • BSEE, MSEE preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive Hands on Test Engineering Experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Verigy 93K Testers.
  • Excellent working knowledge of testing Analog Circuits.
